Insight LA
InsightLA is a meditation center teaching the highest quality mindfulness practices throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. For 16 years, they have offered classes, retreats, and special events in an open and welcoming community. Their work is rooted in ancient traditions, but they also offer both secular and Buddhist classes. 
LMU Tuesday Sitting Group - Taught by Maureen Shannon-Chapple
Location: LMU University Hall 
Time: 7:30pm -9:15 pm (35 minute sit + short break & discussion.  
LMU Zen Group 
This professor-led sitting group meets every Monday and Wednesday morning from 7:30-8:30am. Although Paul Humphrey teaches new comers how to practice the Zen technique of meditation, this sit is primarily silent with no guidance. A typical session involves a 25 minute sitting mediation followed by a 10 minute walking meditation then another 25 minute sit to finish up. Paul is an amazing instructor with bountiful knowledge of Zen practices.
